DEAD MEN DO TELL TALES by William R. Maples & Michael Browning

    If you like TV shows about CSI, I recommend this book. I found this book after I watched the tv show Bones. At first, I didn’t think I would like the book so much. Until I finished, it became one of the most interesting books I’ve read until now. For instance, I found it interesting to know that William R. Maples played a part in solving the Romanovs’ case.

     The first part of the book: William R. Maples talks  about his life and how he decided to study forensic anthropology. In addition William R. Maples talks about the criminal cases he has worked on. The author gives explicit information about  horrible crimes that had occur to people, which can be triggering. Furthermore the last part of this book William R. Maples explains the important role of a forensic anthropologist on deciphering human remains and to interpret the tales left by them. As the title of the book states “Dead Men Do Tell Tales”.

     Si te gustan los programas de televisión sobre CSI, te recomiendo este libro. Encontré este libro después de ver el programa de televisión Bones. Al principio, no pensé que me gustaría tanto el libro. Hasta que lo terminé, se convirtió en uno de los libros más interesantes, que he leído hasta ahora.
Por ejemplo, me pareció interesante saber que William R. Maples participó en la resolución del caso de los Romanovs.

     La primera parte del libro: William R. Maples habla sobre su vida y cómo decidió estudiar antropología forense. Además, William R. Maples habla sobre los casos criminales en los que ha trabajado. El autor da información explícita sobre los horribles crímenes que han ocurrido a las personas, lo que puede ser desencadenante.  Además la última parte de este libro William R. Maples, explica el importante papel de un antropólogo forense en descifrar restos humanos, e interpretar los cuentos dejados por ellos. Como el título del libro dice “Dead Men Do Tell Tales”.
